Scope of Role

Development Manager, responsible for:

  • Town planning design team management
  • Town planning permit submission and approval
  • Development financial feasibility
  • Design development for construction phase

 

Description

High-density single-storey all-timber retirement homes with a twist.  Demanding design constraints required homes, which appeared to be ‘static’ traditional federation-style units, were capable of being lifted with a crane at 1 hour’s notice and transportable in order to comply with the developer’s business model.  Development was permitted on a flood plane requiring a extensive drainage design to arrive at an endorse-able solution.
